AUTISM EVALUATIONS STARTING AT 18 MONTHS OLD TO 99+ YEARS OF AGE
I am a Clinical Psychologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood disorders. As a native of Hungary, I overcame many language and cultural barriers and earned an Associates Degree from Chattahoochee Valley Community College. I later pursued and completed a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Columbus State University and went on to earn a Master's and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia.
My practicum, internships, and residency included Twin Cedars Youth Services, West Central Georgia Regional Hospital, Carroll County Board of Education, the Pastoral Institute and the Bridges Learning Center. I've also completed extensive experience working through the University of North Carolina which allows me to diagnose children with Autism as young as 18-months-old.
I not only experienced great training in the field of developmental disorders by extremely accomplished clinicians, but also my personal experiences with my oldest son, who has been diagnosed with with ASD. His diagnosis provides me with first-hand insight into the methods and techniques used to improve social skills and functioning in children with various developmental disorders, therefore the diagnosis and treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders is not only my professional passion, but a personal one as well.
My passion and drive for the psychological field led to my establishing The Brain Center over 10 years ago in an effort to meet the growing need of the community in the treatment of psychological services to children and adolescents. I offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for learning disabilities, attention disorders, and personality disorders. With children on the autism spectrum, I utilize the "floor-time" method and other behavioral techniques to teach social skills and maximize cognitive development. I also consult with parents, teachers, and other health care professionals in regard to treatment.
My goal is, and has always been, to provide services in a prompt manner that will aid in the treatment planning process and apply scientifically supported treatment techniques to achieve maximum results.
I look forward to establishing a good working alliance with you.
